STEAD Excellence in Evaluating Merit and Promotion Guidance
This workshop is typically offered in Spring Quarter. The STEAD Excellence in Evaluating Merit and Promotion Guidance is designed for faculty and administrators involved in the merit and promotion process. These resources provide information and guidance aimed at increasing equity in the faculty review process and enhancing the value of that process for the institution and for individual faculty.
Note: After presenting the workshop to CAP and FPC members in 2022, the committee recognized that a more systemic approach is needed to increase equity in the faculty evaluation process. The committee developed an extensive Document on Building Equity in Faculty Evaluation for Merit & Promotion that is intended to prompt and support systemic change.
